Description & Usage
Sentinel is the only monthly oral preventive that guards against heartworm, adult roundworms, adult hookworms, whipworms, and prevents the development of flea eggs. This flavored chew is specifically formulated for dogs and puppies over four weeks old and weighing over two pounds.
Precautions & Side Effects
Do not use in puppies under four weeks old and weighing less than two pounds. Possible adverse reactions include: vomiting, lethargy, diarrhea, urticaria, ataxia, convulsions, weakness and hypersalivation. Contact your veterinarian to learn about possible interactions with other medicine.
Milbemycin Oxime (2.3 mg) and Lufenuron (46 mg).
Directions
Follow the dosage prescribed by your veterinarian. Temaril-P should be administered with food and water to avoid an upset stomach. Do not stop the treatment suddenly unless advised by your veterinarian.
Storage
Store at room temperature (59° - 77°F) away from light and moisture. Keep away from pets and children.

Sentinel for dogs (Milbemycin Oxime and Lufenuron) is a prescription, monthly oral preventive drug which guards against parasites such as heartworm, adult roundworms, adult hookworms, whipworms and also prevents flea infestations.
Is Sentinel effective against fleas?
Sentinel will prevent future flea infestations by killing larvae in their early stages. If your dog is already infested with adult fleas, you may need an adulticide medication.
