Description & Usage
The effective ingredients, antihistamine, and corticosteroid in Temaril-P is used to treat itching and coughing in dogs who are diagnosed with kennel cough, bronchitis, and coughs of nonspecific origins.
Precautions & Side Effects
Temaril-P should not be used in pets with tuberculosis, peptic ulcer, and Cushing's syndrome. Many other medications can interact with Temaril-P. Be sure to tell your veterinarian if your pet is currently taking any other drugs. Seek immediate medical attention if your animal experiences any of the following symptoms: allergic reaction (difficulty breathing, hives, swelling of the lips, tongue). Trimeprazine may cause drowsiness and muscle weakness and tremors. Prednisolone can cause increased drinking, urination and appetite. Contact your veterinarian if your pet has vomitting and diarrhea.

Directions
Follow the dosage prescribed by your veterinarian. Temaril-P should be administered with food and water to avoid an upset stomach. Do not stop the treatment suddenly unless advised by your veterinarian.
Storage
Store at temperatures below 77°F. Keep away from moisture and heat.

What is Temaril-P
Temaril-P is a combination of an antihistamine (trimeprazine) and a corticosteroid (prednisolone) used as a cough suppressant to relieve itching and inflammation of the throat.
How to administer Temaril-P
Temaril-P is given as an oral tablet. Give the appropriate dosage to your pet with food and water to avoid an upset stomach.
Is Temaril-P effective?
Temaril-P contains 5mg of antihistamine (trimeprazine) which blocks the effect of histamine in the body. The medication also contains 2mg of steroid (prednisolone) to help reduce inflammation by reducing the body's immune response. Temaril-P is used as a therapeutic treatment to control symptoms and improve your pet's quality of life.
